I. Pre-Search Discovery Phase: Organization/Situation Assessment


We develop an insider's view of your history, culture, vision, and market perspective. During this comprehensive discovery stage, we gain an understanding of the competitive, strategic and financial issues facing our clients.


II. Position Scope: The Role


After uncovering the critical elements of the position and gaining familiarity with the functional competencies, internal and external relationships, leadership dynamics and needs of the opportunity, WSS collaborates with you to define the alignment of individual skills and competence needs with the business strategy and plans for execution.


III. Client Opportunity Proposition: Branding


We excel at delivering a compelling and accurate scenario about the search opportunity to all touch-points during the sourcing phase. We find it critical that the message is delivered with depth - outlining the history, vision and current state of the union as it relates to aspirated performance.


IV. Position Profile: Specification Development


WSS develops a written document that incorporates details of the company, history, position specifications, position scope, and internal/external relationships and objectives. This document captures the nuances unique to the opportunity, events leading up to the initiation of the search and the long-term vision.


V. Sourcing and Acquisition Strategy: Talent Identification


WSS develops a customized, multi-tiered sourcing strategy incorporating precision targeting of the marketplace sorted by functional competency, cultural competency and competitive practice. We conduct a comprehensive market analysis, utilizing channel intelligence methodology, to insure focus on passive and diversity candidates.



VI. Candidate Assessment: Vetting


Our team members conduct a series of role-based, behavioral and competency-based interviews seeking the candidate with the right set of skills, the right attitude and the right motives. Throughout the assessment process, we conduct a series of informal references for qualified candidates to confirm insights gained during interviews. VII. Communication and Delivery: Weekly Search Recap and Slate Intro


Upon completion of our thorough, rigorous vetting process, WSS presents a short list of qualified candidate portfolios inclusive of resumes. WSS team members communicate regularly with the client company's search committee to measure progress and to insure accuracy and efficiency.


VIII. Interview Process: Meeting the Selected Candidates


WSS team members coordinate with the search committee to arrange and facilitate all subsequent steps of the interview process. Our team excels at building trust with candidates by providing ongoing insights and recommendations to overcome obstacles and avoid surprises in the final stages of the process.


IX. Selection and Close: The Finish Line


After delivering a detailed Compensation Overview for the final candidate, WSS conducts custom formal reference checks for the final candidate as desired by the client.


Maintaining close collaboration with both the client and candidate throughout the delivery and acceptance of the offer, WSS leads the candidate through exit strategy for current role.


As a result of our focus on the initial steps of the search process, as well as on our high level of communication with both candidates and clients for the duration of the search and follow-up placement process, our close rate exceeds 95%.


X. On-Boarding


WSS maintains an ongoing relationship with both the placed executive and the key client contacts to ensure seamless assimilation and transition into the new organization. The successful journey toward matching you with the best candidate does not end with the placement.
